Notion habit tracker formula1/11/2024 It took me some time to create the template, but it saved me way more time than I could spend on any other available template right now, filling the template was super easy, and tracking changes and testing my hypothesis will be much easier and faster thanks to how powerful notion is. So I dedicated the day building notion templates with many progress bars for a long five years. I must say it felt a bit wired that nobody thought of making one on Notion that has all five years at the same place with the same design, so there was no other way but to make one myself. you will see a summary of all your progress during every day, month and year with a creative design … the first thing I thought about was Notion, so I searched their templates and some other communities that share pages and templates but I found none. finally every day you just check which habit you do and which you don't and that all. all you need is a just exchange (habit) with your first habit and (habit ) with your Second one. Most of the available templates that I saw are not ready for use simply as I think I made in this one. ![]() Spend your time just check the box beside your habit to mark it done, not creating a formula to analyze the entered data or trying to make it organized in an easily readable way!įull Story: I don't know if it's just me or if there's somebody else who struggles with creating a habit tracker. We'll then use the "floor" function to round the number down and the "concat" function to add a percentage symbol to the end. To do this, we'll take the result from our previous formula and divide it by five to get a clean number. With the addition of Notion’s new progress bar feature, habit trackers can now include analytical properties with rollups. We can also create a percentage number to show with the progress bar. Since we want to show the progress as a percentage, we'll divide the number by the total number of habits (in this case, five). Once we have our number, we can go to the property menu and choose to show the number as a progress bar. We'll do this for each of the five habits. To create the formula, we're going to use a function called "sum" and add up how many checkboxes are ticked as true. In this case, we're going to use a formula property. To create a progress bar in Notion, you can either use a number property or a formula property that returns a number. Here are a few customizations you can consider: Color-code your Habits: Assign different colors to each habit category or use color to indicate the status of each habit (e.g. ![]() In this tracker, every page represents a new day and we have five different checkboxes to represent each habit.
